Henry Rippe of West Long Branch died of heart disease last Wednesday, aged 62 years. He had been in poor health for several months. He was sitting at the dinner table when he was stricken, and he died a few minutes later. Mr. Rippe had for many years been proprietor of the Pitcher farm near West Long Branch. He leaves a widow and three grown daughters. His funeral was held at half-past one o’clock on Sunday. Rev. Levi Larew officiating. The body was buried in Glenwood cemetery. The services at the grave were conducted in German by members of the Masonic lodge of New York.
