Simon Pettis of Manalapan township made his will October 28th, 1889. He left all of his property to his wife, Gertrude A. Pettis, as long as she should live. At her death the property is to be equally divided between his son-in-law, John L. N. Stretton and his granddaughter, Belva Stratton. Gertrude A. Pettis and John L. N. Stratton were appointed executors of the will and Charles S. Tunis and William C. Lefferts were the witnesses.
