A Woman’s Neck Broken
Mrs. Samuel Wank of New York was instantly killed at Long Branch last Wednesday. She was out carriage riding when the team became frightened. She leaped from the carriage, but her skirts caught in the step and threw her under the wheels. The hind wheel passed over her neck, breaking her neck and killing her instantly.
