Thomas Elwood Combs of Philadelphia died suddenly of heart disease on Thursday, August 2d, at Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, where he had gone to visit his daughter. Mr. Combs was 86 years old. He was born on the Combs homestead in Upper Freehold township and was well known in that vicinity. He leaves a wife and one daughter, Mrs. Isaac Elwell, at whose home he died. A brother and a sister also survive him. They are Mrs. Hannah Tantum of Upper Freehold and Edward T. Combs of Freehold.
