Taylor Cottrell of Siloam was building a fire on Saturday, January 27th, when he was suddenly taken sick and was rendered helpless. He lived alone and his condition was not discovered until several hours later, when he was found by Richard Horner. Mr. Cottrell died the next day. He leaves ten children.

Per death notice Mr. Cottrell was 78 years of age.
