George W. Thompson of the Highlands died on Tuesday of last week of consumption, aged 35 years. He had been sick two years. A wife and two children survive him. His wife was formerly Miss Jennie Weaver. Mr. Thompson was a native of Scotland, and had lived at the Highlands about twelve years. He was insured for $1,000 in the Prudential insurance company and this amount has been paid to his widow.
