Hannah C. (Letson), wife of Nicholas E. West, proprietor of Green Gables at Pleasure Bay, died of Bright’s disease on Saturday, February 17th aged 62 years. Mrs. West suffered also with asthma as well as Bright’s disease. She had been sick two months but it was thought that she would recover. She was the daughter of Hannah and Joseph Letson. She had been a member of the Methodist church for 25 years. Mrs. West leaves three children. They are Mrs. Eugene Winship, Marcus West and McClellan West.
