James W. Evans of Freehold died suddenly on Sunday, December 24th, of heart disease. He was 63 years old. He had been in his usual health but on the day of his death he complained of a pain in his throat after eating breakfast. He lay down on a lounge and before he could be removed to his bed he died. Mr. Evan’s wife died last month. He was a veteran of the civil war and leaves a large family of children.
