Jessie Davis, daughter of Charles H. Davis of the Highlands, died at Long Branch last Wednesday at the home of William Morris, with whom she had always lived. She was six years old and death resulted from a cold contracted while recovering from the measles. The funeral was held Saturday morning at Long Branch and on Saturday afternoon at All Saints’ church at Locust Point. The service at All Saints’ church was conducted by Rev. J. W. Nickelson of Navesink. The body was buried in All Saints’ burying ground.
