New Jersey Obituaries - 1900 - Patrick Greeley


   

Patrick Greeley, a farmer at New Monmouth, died on Friday of apoplexy, aged 85 years. He was sick only a short time. He was born in Ireland but had spent the greater part of his life in Middletown township. He was a successful farmer and owned the place on which he lived. A wife and three children survive him. The children are Stephen Greeley, who farms Fitzroy Walling’s place at New Monmouth; and Mrs. Howard Wright and Mrs. William York of Port Monmouth. The funeral was held yesterday at St. Mary’s church at New Monmouth and the body was buried at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
