New Jersey Obituaries - 1900 - Mrs. Mildred (Wheeler) Taber

Mrs. Mildred (Wheeler) Taber, wife of William H. Taber of Long Branch, died at the Williard hospital at New York on Saturday, December 30th, aged 32 years. Mrs. Taber and her son Earle, aged ten years, had been sick with diphtheria. They were recovering from the disease and three weeks ago they went to New York on a visit. As soon as they reached New York the boy had a relapse and a few days later he died at the Williard hospital. Brooding over the loss of her son made Mrs. Taber’s condition change for the worse and she was taken to the hospital where she died of paralysis of the throat. Mrs. Taber was the daughter of Edward Wheeler of Long Branch City. A husband and one son, aged six years, survive her.
