Leroy, son of Frank Vanderveer of Long Branch, died on Sunday, January 7th, aged thirteen years. On New Year’s day he was taken sick with measles from which disease he died a week later. His condition was not thought serious until a few hours before his death. A year ago the boy was operated on at the Long Branch hospital for appendicitis. His death was expected at that time, but he recovered.
