New Jersey Obituaries - 1900 - Harriet (Johnson) Johnson

Harriet (Johnson) Johnson, wife of Anthony Johnson of Red Bank, died at the Long Branch hospital on
Tuesday. Death was caused by cancer, for which she had undergone an operation. She had been sick
about thirteen weeks. She was the daughter of Ezekiel Johnson of Red Bank. Mrs. Johnson leaves five
children. They are Mrs. John Nissen, Lillie Johnson and Henry Johnson of Red Bank; Matthew Johnson of
Shrewsbury, and Florence, wife of Robert Parker of Long Branch. The funeral will be held at Mrs.
Parker’s home at Long Branch at two o’clock on Friday. The sermon will be preached by Rev. William
Bailey, rector of Trinity church of Shrewsbury. The body will be buried in the West Long Branch
cemetery.
Per Death Notice Mrs. Johnson was aged 47 years.
