Found Dead In His Office
Dr. J. Albert Stults Took an Overdose of Morphine
Dr. J. Albert Stults, a dentist at Long Branch and a son of Jacob Stults of that place, was found dead in his office last Thursday. He was last seen alive on Tuesday. When he was found, there was by his side a hypodermic needle, used for giving morphine in hypodermic injections. He was addicted to the use of morphine and it is supposed that he took an overdose. Whether or not he took it with suicidal intent is not known.
Mr. Stults was 27 years old and was born at Long Branch. Five years ago he graduated from the Baltimore dental college with honors and opened an office at Long Branch. Since then he had opened offices at Hightstown and Lakewood. He returned to Long Branch a few weeks ago and had about completed fitting up his dental parlors for business when his death occurred. He was a member of the Red Bank cavalry troop and of the state dental association.
