Rev. Peter Stryker, pastor of the Reformed church of Asbury Park, died on Sunday of apoplexy, aged 74 years. He had been n the ministry 52 years, and had preached at Asbury Park four years. Until two weeks ago he had never missed preaching on account of sickness. He was active in temperance work and a frequent contributor to the religious press. He was also the author of several hymns. A widow, two sons and two daughters survive him. The burial took place at Maplewood cemetery at Freehold.
