New Jersey Obituaries - 1900 - Mrs. Sarah (Harris) Mount

Mrs. Sarah (Harris) Mount of Manasquan, widow of John Mount, died of Bright's disease on Monday of last week at the home of her son, Matthias Mount, aged 74 years. She had suffered with Bright's disease for thirty-eight years and had been sick in bed three months previous to her death. Mrs. Mount was the daughter of William Harris. She was born in Wall township and has lived in the vicinity of Manasquan all her life. She was married to John Mount over fifty years ago. Mrs. Mount was the mother of eleven children, seven who survive her. Those who survive her are Mrs. Elwood Mount and Captain William Mount of Keyport, Mrs. William Stiles of Bradley Beach, Matthias and George F. Mount of Manasquan, Mrs. Robert Heulitt of New Bedford and Thompson B. Mount of Philadelphia. She also leaves four sisters and one brother. They are Mrs. Abram I. Havens and J. Hubbard Harris of Herbertsville, Mrs. Deborah Rogers of New Bedford. Mrs. William Johnson of Iowa and Mrs. Rebecca Ketcham of Indiana.
