The funeral of the late Joseph W. Child was held at Grace church on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock. The service was in charge of Rev. Wright Eckersly, pastor of the church. Other ministers who took part in the services were Rev. William Mitchell of Sayreville, a former pastor of Grace church; Rev. W. R. Wedderspoon of New Brunswick and Rev. Charles E. Hill and Rev. E. C. Hancock of Red Bank. All the business places in town were closed during the service. The bakery business of Mr. Child will be continued by his sons, William and Joseph Child.
