William J. Foster of Long Branch died on Tuesday of last week. He was a painter by trade and was working on the Hollywood hotel at Long Branch the Friday before his death, when he was stricken with apoplexy. He was taken to the Long Branch hospital where he died. His funeral was held on Thursday at the home of his son-in-law, Thomas Gaskell of Long Branch.
