Sylvanus H. Minton of Fair Haven died last Wednesday, aged 87 years. A few months ago Mr. Minton fell and injured himself and since that time he had been unable to walk. He was the son of Mary and Joel Minton and was born at Fair Haven. He followed the water for a living until a few years ago when he retired on account of his advanced age. Mr. Minton leaves a widow and four children. The children are Mrs. Raymond Sears of Red Bank, Mrs. Horatio Johnson and George and Albert Minton of Fair Haven. The funeral was held on Friday and the body was buried at Little Silver.
