Obituaries - NJ - 1900 - William R. Flinn
|
William R. Flinn died on Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Lippincott of Bridge avenue. He was 66 years old. Death was caused by
consumption. He had been sick eight months and was confined to his bed for four weeks previous to his death. The funeral was held at the house
on Tuesday afternoon. Rev. S. H. thompson preached the sermon. The body was buried at Fair View cemetery.
Mr. Flinn was born at Philadelphia and was engaged in the leather business as that place nearly all his life. He retired from business five years
ago and he and his wife came to Red Bank and made their home with their daughter. Mrs. Flinn died three years ago. Mr. Flinn leaves three sons,
all of whom live at Philadelphia. They are George W. Flinn, Edward C. Flinn and William T. Flinn.
