DIED AT A DANCE
Sudden Death of Frank Searles at the Passmore Inn
Frank W. Searles, son of Mrs. Laura Searles, proprietor of the Passmore inn near Eatontown, died of heart disease during a dance held at the inn last Thursday night. He had suffered from heart disease for two years. During the dance Mr. Searles complained of not feeling well and went into an adjoining room. Just as he sat down in a chair he died.
Mr Searles was born in Iows and came East about three years ago. He was an actor and stage manager by profession and was associated with Charles Rosencrans at Pleasure Bay park during the past three summers. He leaves a mother, two half-sisters and a brother. The half-sisters are Miss Vera Denoie of the Passmore inn and Mrs. William Thompson of Long Branch. His brother, Harry Searles, is an actor, and in now at Cleveland, Ohio.
