Edna Soffel, daughter of Edward Soffel of Leighton avenue, died on Thursday morning of heart disease, aged thirteen years. Edna had always been a delicate child. About four years ago she was attacked by heart disease. During last summer she seemed to be in better health. She was taken seriously sick on Monday morning and died three days later. The funeral was held at the house on Sunday afternoon and the body was buried in Fair View cemetery.

Edna was a member of the Baptist Sunday-school, but had to leave the public school over a year ago on account of poor health. Her parents have two younger daughters.
