Mrs. Kate Stryker of Keyport died of strangulated hernia last Saturday, aged 72 years. She was a widow and leaves one son, Samuel Stryker. The trouble from which she died arose from lifting a child about a week before her death. An operation was performed by Drs. Toms and Johnson, but this did not succeed in saving her life.
