DANIEL CALLAHAN DIES AT THE HOME OF HIS DAUGHTER
He lived at Tinton Falls a Number of Years and Came to Red Bank About Three Months Ago
Daniel Callahan, who lived for many years on a farm near Tinton Falls, died on Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Spillane of West
street, aged 71 years. Death was due to a general breaking down of his vital powers. He lived on his farm until about three months ago when he
was moved to his daughter's home on account of failing health. Mr. Callahan's wife died eight years ago. Besides Mrs. Spillane, two sons survive
Mr. Callahan. They are Matthew Callahan and Daniel Callahan. The latter keeps the tollgate at Tinton Falls. The funeral was held yesterday at St.
James's church and the body was buried in Mt. Olivet cemetery at Headden's Corner.
