Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - Mrs. A. Eliza Vanderveer

Mrs. A. Eliza Vanderveer, widow of P. Conover Vanderveer, died at Freehold on Monday of last week, aged
58 years. She was the daughter of Gertrude and William Herbert and was born at Marlboro. She married
Mr. Vanderveer in 1848. He died a year ago at the Trenton asylum, his mind having become unbalanced through
brooding over the loss of a son, Charles Vanderveer. Mrs. Vanderveer leaves another son, Herbert Vanderveer
of Freehold. She leaves also two sisters and a brother. They are Mrs. Henry M. Nevius of Red Bank, Mrs.
Eleanor Carson of Holmdel and J. Schenck Herbert of Marlboro.
