Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - Mrs. Bridget Costello
|
Mrs. Bridget Costello Died on the Floor of Her Room
Mrs. Bridget Costello of Freehold was found dead in her room on Tuesday morning of last week. She worked in Rothschild's
shirt factory and boarded at John Buck's. She worked all day Monday and retired at night apparently as well as ever. The
next morning she did not get up at her accustomed time and Mrs. Buck went to her room. Getting no response to her summons
she entered the room and found Mrs. Costello dead on the floor. Heart disease was the cause of death. Mrs. Costello was
47 years old and was born in Ireland. Her husband died at New York 23 years ago. For the past 34 years Mrs. Costello had
been employed by the V. Henry Rothschild company. She began work for them at New York and went to Freehold with them when
they moved their factory to that place.
