Joseph L. Burrowes, son of Joseph T. Burrowes of Broad street, died last Friday of typhoid fever at his father's home. He was 31 years old. He had been sick about five weeks. A short time before his death he seemed to be improved in health, but a relapse the middle of last week resulted in his death. Mr. Burrowes was born at Keyport, but he had lived at Red Bank since 1878. He leaves a wife, who was Miss Sadie Hance, and a son, aged six years. He leaves also two brothers and a sister, Albert, Harry and Miss Ada Burrowes. The funeral was held on Monday at the house and the body was buried in Fair View cemetery.
