Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - Henry P. Imlay

Henry P. Imlay, a former collector of Upper Freehold township, died suddenly of heart disease at Englishtown on
Wednesday, July 3d, aged forty years. He had been sick only a few days, the excessive heat contributing largely
to his death. He was the son of the late George Imlay. He was born at Imlaystown and spent most of his life
there. At the time of his death he was proprietor of the Union hotel at Englishtown. He married Miss Sallie
Miller, who with one child, a boy aged twelve years, survives him. He leaves also five sisters and two brothers.
They are Mrs. P. B. Pumyea of Allentown, Mrs. Thomas Miers and Mrs. Robert Woodward of Cream Ridge, Mrs. Frank
Silvers of Camden, Miss Imlay of Atlantic City, Peter Imlay of Crosswicks and John Imlay of Chesterfield.
