Mattieson of the Red Bank Baptist church, Rev. W. H. J. Parker of the Middletown Baptist church and Rev. P.K. Hageman of the Middletown Reformed church officiated at the service. Walter B. Parsons of Red Bank sang a solo and the body was buried in Fair View cemetery. Many handsome floral pieces were sent as tributes from relatives and friends.

Edward was a bright boy. He attended the Shrewsbury academy of Red Bank until two years ago, when he went to the Red Bank public schools. When he left school on account of sickness he was in the eighth grade. Last October he joined the Baptist church. He leaves four sisters, Marion, Anabel, Margery and Jean.
