Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - Mrs. Sarah Howland

Mrs. Sarah A. Howland, widow of Henry Howland, died at Asbury Park on Monday, aged 78 years. Mr. Howland was a big hotel man, having conducted some of the largest hotels at Long Branch. He also at one time conducted the Shrewsbury hotel at Seabright.

Mrs. Howland was a sister of Mrs. William T. Corlies of Red Bank and of J. Hubbard Wardell and Edward Wardell of Pleasure Bay. The funeral will be held at Christ church at Shrewsbury at two o'clock to-morrow. Rev. William Baily will officiate and the body will be buried in the churchyard.
