William T. Conover of Manalapan township made his will November 29th, 1890. He ordered his debts paid, and he ordered his executors to put up such a monument to his memory as they should think proper. After paying all debts and paying for the monument, he left all the rest of his property to four children, Joseph A. Conover, Lavinia Conover, Luella Conover and Vanderburg Conover. After making this bequest he adds: "I do not forget I have other children, namely, J. Perrine, Mary, Charles, Thompson, and Theodore; but they having been working for themselves, and the four first named, having lived at home and worked and taken care of the family, I feel that I am doing nothing but what is just, and hope my family will all agree with me." Joseph A. Conover and Vanderburg Conover were made the executors of the will and the witnesses were William Hees, Jr., Carrie Conover and William L. Conover.
