Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - Mrs. Elizabeth (Worth) Ward

Mrs. Elizabeth Ward, wife of Captain Thomas R. Ward of Freehold, died suddently(sic) of heart disease on
Monday of last week, aged 73 years. She rose in the morning feeling as well as usual but was stricken
while dressing and died without regaining consciousness. Her maiden name was Worth and she was born in
Ocean county, New Jersey. She was a member of the Freehold Presbyterian church and took an active part
in its welfare. Besides a husband she leaves three children. The children are Thomas A. Ward and Mrs.
Charles E. Golden of Freehold, and Mrs. E. Frick of Pittsburg (sic), Pa. Three sisters and a brother
also survive her.
