A Woman's Sudden Death
Mrs. Roland Polhemus Falls From a Chair and Dies Immediately
Mrs. Sarah Polhemus, wife of Roland Polhemus of Pine Brook, died very suddenly on Saturday afternoon.
She was in her usual good health in the morning and had performed her usual household duties. In the
afternoon she sat down in a chair and was speaking about the evening train going by when she suddenly
fell from the chair. She was dead before she could be picked up. Death was caused by heart disease.
Coroner Tetley was notified but did not consider an inquest necessary.
Mrs. Polhemus was born in Holmdel township. Her maiden name was Brown and she married Roland Polhemus
about 25 years ago. Her entire married life was spent at Pine Brook. She leaves three children.
