Mrs. Mary Augusta Roberts, wife of Edward Everett Roberts, died at Red Bank last Thursday. She had been failing for several months, and her death was due to a general breaking down. Mrs. Roberts was born at New York and was the daughter of Caroline Smith and Thomas Carhart Pinckney. She had been a summer resident of Red Bank for over twenty years. She leaves a daughter and a stepson. The daughter is Caroline Maud Lee and the stepson is Elbridge Gerry Roberts. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon at the house and the body was buried on Monday in Grace church cemetery at Jamaica, Long island.
