William Griffen died at the Long Branch hospital last Saturday. He was 24 years old and his death was due to internal trouble. Mr. Griffen was an orphan and was brought up by Mrs. Kane of Headden's corner. He was a farmer by occupation. The funeral was held on Monday at St. James's church and the body was buried in Mount Olivet cemetery.
