Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - Mrs. Rebecca A. (Brown) Card

Mrs. Rebecca Ann Card, widow of Andrew Jackson Card of Navesink, died on Saturday. She was seventy years old and death was due to a general breaking down of her health. Her maiden name was Brown. She was born in Warren county but the greater part of her life had been spent at Navesink. Five children survive her. They are Mrs. Eugene Kipp, Andrew, Thomas and William Card of Navesink, and Mrs. George Emery of Oceanic. She leaves also a brother and a sister, Theodore Brown of Belford and Mrs. William Douglass of Navesink and a half sister Mrs. Theodocia Howland of Bay Head, Long Island. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at the Navesink Methodist church, of which Mrs. Card was a member, and the body was buried in Bay View cemetery.
