A Drowning Accident at Long Branch

Frank Howe, bookkeeper at the Hollywood hotel at Long Branch, was drowned while in bathing at that place on Sunday afternoon. He was swimming in about five feet of water when he was suddenly seen to sink. Life guards went to his rescue and soon brought the body ashore, but Howe was dead. He suffered from heart disease and it is believed that a sudden attack of the disease was responsible for his death. He was 45 years old and is survived by a wife and one child. His wife was on the beach when his lifeless body was brought ashore.
