Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - Mrs. Emily (White) Woolley

Mrs. Emily Woolley, widow of Britton Woolley, Jr., of Long Branch, died at the hospital at that place on Monday of last week from the effects of an operation for appendicitis. She was operated on on Friday, August 16th. For a few days it was thought that she was recovering, but complications set in and caused her death. She was 54 years old.

Mrs. Woolley was the daughter of the late Rebecca and Drummond White and was born at North Asbury Park. When six years old she went to live with Mrs. Anna M. Woolley and had lived at Long Branch ever since. Four sisters and four brothers survive her. They are Mrs. Matilda VanHuel, Mrs. Mary Snowden, Mrs. Jane M. Haight, Mrs. Caroline Bennett, John, Nicholas, Samuel and Asbury White.
