Mrs. Maggie (Walling) Conover, wife of Eugene Conover of Atlantic Highlands, died last Wednesday of consumption, aged 26 years. Mrs. Conover was the daughter of William Spafford Walling and formerly lived at Matawan. Her father and mother are both dead. About two years and a half ago she married Eugene Conover, son of Denise Conover of Atlantic Highlands, and had since lived at the place. Besides a husband she leaves one child, a boy six months old. She leaves also a sister, Mrs. William F. Conover of Atlantic Highlands. The funeral was held on Friday at the house and was conducted by Rev. A. B. McLaurin, pastor of the Central Baptist church. The body was buried in Rose Hill cemetery at Matawan.
