New Jersey Wills - 1902 - James Flitcroft
|
James Flitcroft of Farmingdale, who died about a month ago made his will last April. The witnesses were Halstead Wainwright and William F. Megill. Mr. Flitcroft was a prominent cranberry grower and he left a considerable fortune. He left three sons, and four daughters. The sons are John S. Flitcroft, William H. Flitcroft and J. Edward Flitcroft. The daughters are Mrs. Ella Mary Conrow, Mrs. Melissa S. Hall, Mrs. Mattie C. Shafto and Mrs. Anne E. Morris. To each of these children Mr. Flitcroft left $2,000. Any notes or other claims which Mr. Flitcroft might hold against any of his children are to be deducted from their bequests. Mr. Flitcroft owned some real estate at Ocean Grove and this was bequeathed to John S. Flitcroft and Mattie C. Shafto. All the rest of the estate, of whatever kind, was left to Mr. Flitcroft’s wife, Anna W. Flitcroft. The three sons were made the executors of the will.
