William H. Sherman’s Will

His Wife Has the Use and Income of the Estate During Her Life

William H. Sherman of Red Bank, who died in Chicago about a month ago, left a will which he made April 8th, 1901. He left his burial plot in Fair View cemetery to his son and namesake, William H. Sherman, Jr., with the stipulation that it should be kept in order and that Mr. Sherman and his wife should both be buried there.

Mr. Sherman left to his wife, Sarah M. Sherman, the use and income of all his property as long as she should live. At her death the property is to be divided among Mr. Sherman’s three children, Ada Sherman Manning, wife of Louis Y. Manning; Albert Percy Sherman and William Henry Sherman Jr., share and share alike. Mr. Sherman’s wife was made the executrix of the will. The witnesses were James E. Degnan and William H. Lawes, Jr.
