Died From A Debauch

A Tramp Found Dead at Eatontown Yesterday Afternoon

James Hogan, a tramp who visited this section frequently, died at Eatontown yesterday afternoon as the result of a debauch. He and three companions were camped near Darius Vandermark’s and had been drinking all day. About four o’clock Hogan was found dead by some passers by. He had fallen face downward in the mud and had smothered to death. His companions did not realize his predicament and were too drunk to help him if they had.
