A Suicide At Long Branch
An Italian Barber Takes His Life by Inhaling Gas
Frank Binco, an Italian Barber, committed suicide in the bath room of the Hotel Abbett at Long Branch on Wednesday night. Binco had been employed in P. Rimo’s barber shop. On Thursday morning Binco’s room was empty and the bath room door was locked. It was thought that Binco was taking a bath and nothing was thought of the matter until two hours later, when the suspicions of Mrs. Zimmers, wife of the proprietor, were aroused. The bath room door was forced open and the dead body of Binco was found on the bathroom floor. He had attached a rubber hose to the gas jet and had placed the other end of the hose in his mouth. Nothing is known concerning the suicide’s family.
