David M. Taylor, 57, of Fair Haven, died Wednesday, Feb 11, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch,
after a short illness, surrounded by the many people who loved him. David was a man of many talents,
a skilled carpenter, sailor, fisherman, coach and raconteur. He was a
veteran and a man of great courage and conviction, a true hero who offered lifesaving advice and
companionship to many friends in need. He was a loyal and steadfast son, brother and friend
whose keen sense of humor will be missed. Most important, he was an extraordinary husband and father.
His love and commitment to, and pride in his wife and son was unmatched.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lillian and Gregory Taylor; and two brothers, Gregory and Edward.
Surviving are his wife of 11 years, Suzanne M. Kitson; a son, Casey Morgan Kitson Taylor; a brother,
Robert of Tobyhanna, PA; and scores of relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of
Monmouth County, 1475 W. Front St., Lincroft. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
Casey Kitson Taylor Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 6572, Fair Haven, NJ 07704. Paul A. McDonough
Funeral Home, Belmar, is in charge of arrangements.
