New York Obituaries - 1864 - Capt. George W. Vanderbilt |
At Nice, France, on Thursday, Dec 31, Capt. George W. Vanderbilt, U. S. Army, in the 25th year of his age.
The relatives and friends of the family, and the officers of the U. S. Army at this post, are respectfully
invited, without further notice, to attend the funeral, which will take place on Thursday, the 4th inst.,
at 10 1/2 o'clock A.M.., from the residence of his father, Cornelius vanderbilt, No. 10 Washington place,
whence the remains will be taken to Staten Island for interment.
