New York Obituaries - Feb 26, 1864 - Capt. James Hart |
On Wednesday evening, Feb 24, Capt. James Hart, Superintendent of the Seaman's Retreat, Staten Island,
aged 72 years.
The funeral will take place on Sunday, the 28th inst., at 12 o'clock, at Stapleton, Staten Island.
The friends of the family, the members of the Marine Society, and the Trustees of the Seaman's Fund and Retreat,
are respectfully invited to attend. Boats leave every hour from foot of Whitehall st.
