Mrs. Bridget Barrett, ninety-five years old, died at her home, 512 East Seventeenth Street, yesterday, from the effects of a fall she received several weeks ago. She was the mother of eight children, the grand-mother of fourteen, and the great-grand-mother of two children. Mrs. Barrett was born in Eiska, County Sligo, Ireland, on June 17, 1804. During the epidemic of yellow-fever in 1849 Mrs. Barrett was stricken with the disease, and left for dead while her relatives went for a coffin. Forty years ago she and her husband came to New York.
