New York Obituaries - 1901 - Mrs. Martha Ogden Ryan

Mrs. Martha Ogden Ryan, widow of John Ryan, died Friday evening at 8 o'clock at her home, 2 Kernochan
Block, after a lingering illness, aged 50 years.
Deceased was born at Branchville, NJ, and was a daughter of William H. and Emeline Ogden, deceased.
Her husband, John Ryan, died in Brooklyn four years ago, since which time deceased made her home in this
city.
Deceased is survived by five children, Mrs. Geo. A. Robinson, of Brooklyn;
Mrs. Van Etten, Prev. of Matamoras, Pa; Miss Orphia M.; John T., and William H. at home.
Deceased was a member of Fuller Regiment Union Veterans' Relief Union. She was a kind mother and a
generous neighbor and was held in high esteem by all who knew her.
