Nathan, Gratz, a well known lawyer of this city, died at his home, No. 206 West 86th Street, April 20, 1915, in his 72nd year, son of Jonathan and Rebecca Gratz (Moses) Nathan. He is survivied by a daughter, Constance, a brother and one sister.

Mr. Nathan graduated from Columbia College in 1861. He engaged in practice in 1864 and was well known in Democratic political circles, clubs, and charitable societies. He was a member of New York law Institute, Columbia Alumni, and the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society.
