Obituary Notes

Charles H. Randolph, a veteran of the civil war, died yesterday at his home in Plainfiedl, NJ. He was a miller.

Archer Gifford Plume, a descendant of one the Minute Men of the American Revolution, died yesterday at his home in Newark, NJ. He was in his eighty-eighth year. For fifty years he had been actively engaged in the fire insurance business.

William Marshall, a member of several fraternal organizations in Queens, died yesterday at his home, 85 Wilson Avenue, Flushing.

Mrs. Sarah Post Hoag, 77 years old, widow of Dr. William H. Hoag, a physician and surgeon, who died three weeks ago, died yesterday in her seventy-sixth year at her home in Manhasset, L.I.

Mrs. Harriet Smith Pond, wife of Anson Phelps Pond, died yesterdya at her apartments in Hotel St. Andrew, Broadway and Seventy-second Street, in her sixty-fourth year. She was the daughter of the late Henry Smith, who was a prominent business man of this city.
